Ryan’s hospitality career began in 2005 when a friend’s recommendation led him to join Singapore Airlines as a cabin crew member. Rising to Leading Steward, Ryan gained invaluable experience serving passengers from diverse cultures. This role sharpened his skills in active listening, empathy, and anticipating needs — qualities that now shape his approach to fine dining hospitality.
Following his tenure with Singapore Airlines, Ryan brought his expertise to renowned Japanese restaurants, starting at Taiga Dining, and later joining the opening team of Shoukouwa Shinjidai. He currently serves at Saint Pierre, the sister restaurant to Shoukouwa Shinjidai.
At Saint Pierre, Ryan fosters seamless collaboration between the front-of-house and kitchen teams, ensuring every guest enjoys an impeccable dining journey. His composed demeanour and attentive approach create a welcoming atmosphere, while his keen eye for detail sets the standard for warm hospitality.
